Pumpkin pie ice cream in a warm waffle cone
This #thankyouthursday, I am grateful for pumpkin pie ice cream in a warm waffle cone.
There is plenty I could say about this specific experience, but first, I encourage you to pause for a moment and picture it for yourself.

…
…Did you imagine what it feels like to thoroughly enjoy hand-scooped ice cream in a freshly baked cone?
Fortunately for me, that pleasure was my reality a couple nights ago, and I am grateful—not only for such a perfect dessert, but also for the circumstances that allowed it: My mother-in-law stayed with the baby while my partner and I went out.
I talked last week about there being more good than bad, and lately there has been ample evidence to support my hypothesis.
Some of it tastes like pumpkin pie ice cream in a warm waffle cone.
Love > fear,
Christina
p.s. If you’re thinking, “Wow, this email came later in the day than usual,” well, YOU ARE RIGHT! When I tried to publish it earlier, I got notified that my account had been flagged. Apparently I’m getting enough new subscribers that something seemed suspicious? But now my humble little missive has been verified. All of which is to say, if you are new to #thankyouthursday, welcome! I believe you are real, and I am glad you are here.
