This #thankyouthursday, I am grateful for a symphony of breaths. I wake up multiple times each night these days, which is an expected aspect of life with an infant and also a challenging one. Waking repeatedly means repeatedly going back to sleep, and to do that, I listen to my family breathe. Three distinctive rise-and-falls make up a ragged symphony. Three overlapping sets of sighs and snores; incomparable music to my exhausted ears.
