Unseen forces, always at work
This #thankyouthursday, I am grateful for unseen forces, always at work.
That’s certainly a grand thing—concept?—to be grateful for. But this week has brought some big shifts, and in times of change and uncertainty, even the positive sorts, I tend to feel unsettled and off balance.
And believing in unseen forces, always at work, helps me to get grounded.
There is so much I cannot control. There is so much I do not need to control. When I allow myself to pause and step back from the immediacy of my life, to pull away from the constant stream of information and task lists, a larger view generally reveals itself. One that clearly evidences unseen forces, always at work.
This week, that work has looked like several serendipitous moments, at least one lucky break, and quite a few new circumstances that still don’t make sense to me. Fortunately, I don’t need to understand anything. The unseen forces will continue doing what they do; their work will continue.
For that, I am so grateful.
Love > fear,
