The space at the bottom of a breath
This #thankyouthursday, I am grateful for the space at the bottom of a breath.
I’m not getting a lot of “me time” at the moment, but if I think of it, I can almost always make room for a long, slow, restorative deep breath.
And at the bottom of that long, slow, restorative deep breath, right as I finish inhaling, and before I begin to exhale, there is a space.
I need that space.
The space at the bottom of a breath is a pause, and a prayer, and a chance to feel myself simply...being here.
It may only last for a second, but that spacious pause serves as a reset.
And in order to successfully take care of all the things I need to do—or if I dare to read the news—it really helps to have a reset.
Love > fear,
Christina
