Out with the old...
This #thankyouthursday, I am grateful for “Out with the old.”
That’s the first half of the saying, anyway. The second half is coming your way as a second #thankyouthursday email, which is my creative approach to officially changing how I send these weekly emails.
As you may or may not be aware (or care), for the past several years I have used a paid email marketing service to manage how I communicate with you, my reader/friend.
However, I’ve discovered a more appealing way of writing and communicating, so I am switching things up. And I figured the last #thankyouthursday of 2020 was a great time to make the transition.
So! Not much will change for you. If my emails have ended up in your spam folder or Promotions tab before, they probably will again (unless you mark them “Primary” or add the sender to your address book, which I of course encourage you to do).
But for me? I am excited to release something old and embrace something new.
And it’s a gift, too, allowing myself to say “out with the old”—and infusing that release with gratitude. Because I can be ready to let something go and still be grateful for it.
Like, say, 2020.
Love > fear,
Christina
