Comprehensive coverage
This #thankyouthursday, I am grateful for comprehensive coverage.
Someone stole my car yesterday.
It was parked right in front of my house the night before, and the next morning it…wasn’t.
There are so very many things I could say about this situation. It is not a fun one.
However, when I bought the car and updated my insurance policy, I opted for comprehensive coverage, and for that I am grateful.
Liability insurance is all that is legally required where I live, and it’s not hard to imagine myself choosing the most basic plan, the cheapest option, the bare minimum.
At least, it’s not hard to imagine a past version of myself doing that. But in more recent years, I’ve worked hard to shift my mindset around money and wealth, and so when it was time to pick an insurance plan, I chose an option that felt abundant.
“It is just money, it is only money, it is always money. You always receive money. Do not fear or scramble. It is safe to receive.”
That’s a message I received from my spirit guides last week. It was very relevant then, and it feels even more significant now.
I won’t pretend I understand what’s happening, why someone stole my car (and my son’s car seat and stroller and toys 😭😭😭) or how this is in any way an experience I need.
But I do believe it is safe to receive.
Love > fear,
Christina
p.s. For real though, if you have car insurance, it might be worth checking to make sure you’ve got comprehensive coverage.
