A working washer
This #thankyouthursday I am grateful for a working washer.
The new year has not really felt fresh so far, but my clothes are clean, and I was able to get them that way without leaving my house, and I am grateful.
Last month the washer wasn’t working and I thought we needed a new one and I was worried about how much it was going to cost (but also excited about getting a new one) and then it turned out we were able to repair the existing washer.
The fancy machine I ordered and then canceled would have been arriving any day now; this whole time I wouldn’t have had a working washer. And last week my son stopped wearing diapers.
I won’t begin to pretend to understand why by things unfold the way they do, but years of evidence in my experience prove that some sort of divine timing is in play. And while there are always big things to think about, I have what I need today. Including a working washer—yay!
Love > fear,
