A fragment of a thread of a powerful prayer
This #thankyouthursday, I am grateful for a fragment of a thread of a powerful prayer.
It’s been years since I learned about h’oponopono, a practice I’ve previously described as four easy phrases that always lead to freedom.
Indeed, h’oponopono is a powerful prayer, or, more like a set of prayers—or really, more like a set of simple phrases that morph into mantras.
Several times in the last week I found myself at a loss for what to say or do. My feelings were strong but my confidence was not. And in those moments, I didn’t have it in me to call upon an elaborate set of tools.
But I did manage to snag at the fragment of a thread of a powerful prayer—which is to say, I remembered h’oponopono, and I recited one of the four phrases with a conviction that turned into comfort.
It was the first time I can remember really focusing on only one part of h’oponopono; my general understanding is that you want to combine all four pieces for maximum effect. And maybe that is true. But I learned this week that embracing just one of them works too.
Love > fear,
