A dusting of snow that didn’t stick to the road
This #thankyouthursday, I am grateful for a dusting of snow that didn’t stick to the road.
You know how sometimes a snow day is exactly what you want and hope for? Well, that’s not what I needed today, and I’m so grateful that when I noticed the snow falling this morning, stacking gently on car hoods and tree branches, I also noticed the streets were clear.
Meaning, we’d get a picturesque confirmation of winter, but no traffic issues. No school closures.
You know how sometimes you just really need for school to be open? That’s how I felt today.
So I do appreciate the snow—but I appreciate even more that it didn’t get in the way.
Love > fear,
Christina
